Children are like sponges absorbing the values, education and skills learned early on in their life. At the Y, children and teens develop positive behaviors, discover their unique interests and talents, and can help them realize their full potential.

Our School Aged-Child Care (SACC) program and Developmental Preschool programs at the Y focus on encouraging child development by providing a safe and healthy place for children. We focus on teaching foundational skills, developing healthy, trusting relationships and build self-confidence through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Swimming Lessons, Group Exercise and our Youth Sports programs allow children to learn about becoming and staying active while developing healthy habits that will last a lifetime. These benefits are far greater than just exercise. These programs encourage the value of hard work through spirited competition and good sportsmanship, gaining self-confidence and life skills, while making new friends and being kids!

Day Camps and specialty camps at the Y share one thing: they’re about discovery. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. And, of course, it’s fun too.

Our leadership and academic enrichment program, Youth and Government, allow teens to gain the opportunity to pursue the best possible future.
