The YMCA’s FUNdamental Sports Programs teach the basic skills of the sport through drills and practices with less emphasis on the game. We concentrate more on the fundamentals of the sport. FUNdamental Sports run 30 minutes and are for ages 2-4 years old. Each participant is required to wear gym shoes and sports attire while equipment will be provided from the Y. Parent involvement with their child is required during class.

Soccer - September
Pass, kick, goal! Learn the fundamentals of soccer while building coordination and interacting with peers.
Basketball - October
Pass, dribble, shoot! Learn the fundamentals of basketball while building coordination and interacting with peers.
T-Ball - November
Explore the basics of t-ball through drills that teach proper throwing techniques, fielding positions, the difference between bases, as well as proper hitting stance.
Volleyball - December
Bump, set, spike! Learn the fundamentals of volleyball while building coordination and interacting with peers.
